I Had My Angel With Me... and Nova.
I wanted to hurry up and get my post in while Sarah is doing the dishes. To be honest, she's only doing the dishes so she can have coffee and breakfast. I'm not saying she doesn't do anything around here. She does more than most. She just does it when she wants to and right now... she doesn't.
Anyway. We had a shifter meeting last night and that's why I chose the picture of Nova sniffing the couch. I think that's where Nikole was sitting. She's a wereleopard. Nova's a male cat smelling a female cat in his territory. We all thought it was pretty funny when he started to freak out as soon as she left.
Sarah did this survey last night. It's the second "widespread" survey that we've done. Strangely, the only ones who have done them would be me and Sarah. Hopefully soon you'll be able to hear from someone who's not us. Sometime today, my version of the survey will go up on the forum. Sarah's is already up on her blog and the forum.
- Original questions, ready?
Why don't I trust you? - Ever found a condom on the ground?
Yes. - Don't tell me lies, have you been under the influence in the past 24 hours?
No. - Who were you last in a car with?
Sarah and her dad. She's getting really good at driving. Safely, I meant safely. - Do you remember your very first kiss?
Yes, like it was yesterday. - Do you think things will change in the next few months?
I have to copy my wife... Things never stay the same. I just hope it's in a good way. - Last person you kissed on the lips said that you were the only one they wanted, would you believe them?
I'd love to, but my brain just can't seem to believe that she'd only want me. That's pretty much our only issue right now. Don't send her anything nasty. It's all my fault. - Is there a girl that knows everything or almost everything about you?
She's knows more about me than I ever wanted her to know. - Who did you last hug?
My wife. - Have you cried this past week?
No. - Say your ex walks up to you and hugs you, what do you say?
Cringe. Well, there's a couple that I'm fine with getting hugged by, but not many. - What does your twentieth text say?
"Did you guys get more coffee creamer?" You have to love Jason. - Where is the person who has your heart at the moment?
In the kitchen. - Do you think anyone has feelings for you?
I like to think so. - What is your favorite thing about being sick?
I have to agree with Sarah, being sick is bad. - After breaking up, what's the worst part?
I don't know. - Last phone call was with whom?
Jasper "Red, Red Wine" Mayall. - Who was the last person that told you everything was going to be ok?
Sarah. - Do you think two people can last forever?
Yes. - Would it be weird if the last person you kissed called you?
I don't know why she couldn't just come out of the kitchen and talk to me. - Do you currently have a hickey, if so where?
No. No hickies. - Last night, you felt?
Blissful. - Will you regret your next kiss?
Actually looking forward to it. - Would you be surprised if your ex called you tonight?
Yes. - Honestly, who was the last person to tell you that they love you?
Jasper. He was being snarky though. I don't think he really meant it. :-( - Did you sleep alone last night?
No. I had my angel with me. :-) And Nova... - Would you ever eat a bug for 1,000 dollars?
No. - The last person you kissed, how many times have you cried in front of them?
More than anyone else. - Do you plan on sleeping in tomorrow?
No later than usual. - Would you rather dye your hair or go tanning?
Neither. I've done both and didn't like either one. - Do you have a best friend?
Yes. - Best summer of your life?
This one's shaping up to be pretty good. - Do you find piercings attractive?
If they're on Sarah, yes. - What were you doing last night at midnight?
;-) - Lets start with the personals okay?
Sure? - Anyone you can't live without?
Yes. - Waiting for something?
Sarah to get her coffee and come back in here. - Last December, what was your love life like?
Almost bad. - Your phone is ringing. It's your ex. What do you say?
I don't answer it. They have no reason to be calling me. - Have you ever kissed anyone who's real name started with a B? How many?
Yes. - Have you ever kissed someone who's real name started with an M?
Yes. - What about J, K, L, D, N, O, P?
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. - Was lastnight terrible?
Absolutely not. - Are you 100% over the last person you kissed?
She's my world. - Are you the type of person to make people laugh?
More now than ever. - Don't tell me lies, so is the last person you texted attractive?
Jasper? I'm sure someone finds him somewhat easy to look at. - You kissed someone last night, didn't you?
Yes. - What's so special about what you're wearing?
Nothing. - If you had to choose one: strawberries or grapes?
Strawberres. - Did you reject or accept your last friend request?
Sarah does all that stuff. I still don't understand all of it. - Do you have a favorite number?
61. - Are you currently wanting any piercings or tattoos?
No. - Miss someone?
I miss my wife. How long does it take to wash a mug? - Will tomorrow be a good day?
I hope so. - Would you hug the last person you hugged again?
I would love to. I will when she gets back in here. - Has anyone ever tried to ruin a relationship you were in?
Of course.

Thank You, Angel
Good afternoon, everyone.I wanted to come on here and say thank you to my beautiful wife for putting up with me today. I thought she was going to give up for a moment there, but she didn't.
She had patience long enough to find a new layout for my blog.
Believe it or not, but I'm not as good with technology as she is. I also don't have the patience to sit and search for a template all day.
I was afraid to ask her, but she volunteered. I'm very grateful that she did.
Thank you, angel, for your patience and intelligence.
Oh, and the jeans that you're wearing today. ;-)

Nephilim
I completely changed my outlook when she showed me the cover that she had chosen.
I have been working with Sarah, as she's told you all, throughout the process of writing Nephilim. She's got more enthusiasm about this book than I've seen her have for much else. She has put her heart and soul into it. I know the story can hold itself up, but the title was a bit off for me. The cover sold it for me though. When she just said Nephilim... first of all, I didn't know exactly what she said. She had to repeat it.
The research she compiled for just that one word is astounding. Reading through the hundreds of pages, I figured out that the word Nephilim is perfect.
White roses signify honor, virtue, and innocence. Take a white rose and have a bloody knife hovering above it... you've got the ideal image for what Sarah is trying to convey within this book.
Blood Red Roses was sort of the introduction into our lives and most importantly, Sarah's mind. Nephilim jumps head-first into the deep end and doesn't let you come up for air.
Well, it's 2:40 in the morning... as Wiz said over on the Royal Family blog, Sarah will be posting on her blog as soon as she gets her coffee. I'll make sure of it.

Blood Red Roses
Long time, no post. I just wanted to congratulate my wife for completing something. She's been working non-stop on this book since July. I'm extremely proud of her. We're all proud of her.I haven't read it. For some reason everyone keeps asking me if it's good. I don't know. Knowing Sarah, it's amazing, but I don't know. I haven't read it yet. Hopefully soon I will be able to tell you guys how wonderful it is.
To purchase the book, go to her blog and there's links everywhere for it.

Paris
Just enjoyed a wonderful dinner with Sarah and the kids. Sarah made some lasagna, all by herself. Sarah and Charm are playing with Tony right now. Charm's the only one of the kids that are brave enough to play with Tony. She's the most adventurous of the kids. Emmy, who's surprisingly awake, and Emma are watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua. The boys are with Jasper and Lucian. They took them for a walk through the gardens. The gardens were started by Sarah when she was Christine and have been continued by many of her children. It's the most beautiful garden I have ever seen and I'm not saying that because it was envisioned by Sarah. It is genuinely the most spectacular thing I have ever seen.Marcellus, Dean, and I went with Sarah when she drove around Toronto today. She is getting a lot of practice lately and hasn't killed us yet.
We're going to take the kids to see the Eiffel Tower tonight. It will be the first time for the little ones. As little as Sarah and I like the tower, the kids should see it. It is a piece of architectural history.

Emmett's Angel Wings... continued
Relationships are hard... really hard. I never thought they would be, but then again, I haven't had many "normal" relationships. I'm not exactly sure what's going on right now, but it's starting to drive me crazy. There's a lot of ducking and avoidance going on from a certain somebody. Okay, here's the deal... Jean-Claude and my engagement is off. He ended it with no explanation. It wouldn't be so uncomfortable if I didn't have to see Jean-Claude everywhere. We have had a string of meetings and we're two of the main ones so, we have to go to every one. Not to mention we have two babies that should have both of their parents. I would completely understand the whole thing if he would just tell me why he's avoiding me. My relationship with Emmett has gotten to a point where there is no negativity or chaos. It's perfect. If it weren't, I wouldn't have been so alright with Jean-Claude's breaking away. Maybe he saw how much closer Emmett and I got on our trip to Germany. I don't know. I probably won't know.Sarah posted this on her blog about an hour ago. I couldn't have said any of it better myself. I can't say that I'm not happy that my wife is not seeing anyone else. I have to agree that it's uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable for all of us. I just want to support my wife no matter what she decides to do. I will do anything in my power to keep her happy and it's kind of hard when one of her close friends is abandoning her.
