Storm and the Chesticles

Sarah and I are sitting down with Brock, Bob, and the rest of our group to finalize things for TX7 today.

I thought while Sarah tended to Hannele, I'd confront all of the things that have been said about the "confrontation" that happened at the Larkins' Christmas party.

There was no fight or argument. There was a slight disagreement between Sarah and Storm that resulted in Storm leaving the party.

Sarah and Storm have been together nearly every day since Storm joined the tour and have never had any conflicts before. I think they are just worn out and a break from each other is all that they need for this to calm down.

Storm has decided to take a break from the Team Xtreme tour and focus on her band right now.

Storm is part of our family and no matter what happens she'll always be welcome back with open arms anytime. We wish her and the Chesticles the best of luck.

I Think I'm In Love

Hey, guys. I just wanted to come on here and say thank you to everyone in LA, Portland, and San Francisco for coming out and dealing with our shenanigans.

I'd also like to take this time to thank Tsavo and the one and only, Sarah Auvo for putting up with me and my Chesticles. We could've done the shows without you, but really it wouldn't have been as much fun.

I also wouldn't have had the opportunity to witness the rare, magical, and mysterious drunken Mrs. Auvo. That girl has a very, very dirty mind and an even more dirty mouth. With every nasty word that came out from behind those lips, I fell more and more in love with this woman. She's not only the greatest singer and all-around musician I've ever seen, she can drink you under the table and still verbally kick you in the goodies.

I can't wait for TX7 to start so we can show everyone just how grown our little girl has become.

David, Brian, and James, you crazy bastards are my family and I love you, but it's time we take a break from that damn bus.

Xie Xie, Xtreme Peeps

Hello, TX blog peeps!

Sampsa, Storm, Wiz, Brock, Lutalo, newbie B. Horne, and I are working hard to get all the Team Xtreme Tour info together for this blog and for the main site.

We have a LOT of information to put together in a somewhat organized manner so... bare with us.

Bridget Horne, the newly donned Ms. Xtreme, has taken this week off and is going to make sure we've got our Xtreme heads on straight before she goes back to her life, which she graciously dropped to help our sorry butts.

I'm going to make sure one of us - Storm, Sampsa, or me - lets you all know when more information is added to the pages.

We gave each of the six tours their own page on the blog, but only Tour #4 has all the concert dates. The locations aren't on there yet, but the dates are.

Most Beautiful Hand

Most Beautiful Hand

Happy Birthday, Sampsa!!!

While Sarah is running around like a chicken with its head cut off, I wanted to post on here and say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAMPSA!!!

He's playing with the kiddies right now because Sarah told him to stay in the bedroom until she gets the dishes and laundry done. She wants to get the dishes done so everyone can have coffee before 10 a.m. This woman doesn't stop.

So we're all trying to stay out of her way while we watch MST3K: Werewolf, which is Sarah's favorite.

Janoinen Lohi

I love Finland!

I just spent five hours having lunch at Janoinen Lohi with Mr. and Mrs. Auvo and I wish we could've stayed longer.

We had to leave because Sarah got a call that Sam, her grandson, had a fever. As far as I know he's fine now and in the protective hands of Dr. Delbin.

This tour was the best I've been on and the downtime has been the best.

November 5

These are the only other photos I could find on this computer. Again, I'm sure there's a lot more, but I would rather spend my time with my wife than looking for pictures of her when she was a baby.

We're going to Stuart today so we'll have internet access on the laptop. Maybe there are more pictures on there.

Lima Beans

As promised, here are some of the pictures that I took of Sarah when she was a baby.

Sarah got her eye glasses yesterday and is wearing them as she was told to. They help her see better while staring at her laptop all day.

Last night Sarah's dad made his famous lima beans. Sarah enjoyed them so much she had three
bowls, which for her is unheard of. We watched a couple movies with her parents and some of the children before we went to bed.

As I typed that Sarah, who's sitting behind me with her laptop, yawned. She may need a nap before we go to the nursing home today.

I hope to post a few more pictures before her birthday, but I'm having a hard time finding all of them. I might need to post some after her birthday.

Golden Corral is my new favorite place in the world.

Cathartic

Today I accompanied Sarah to the eye doctor. She was only there for her annual check-up, but when the doctor finished testing her eyes, he told us that she is far sighted and she'll need glasses.

After about five minutes of looking through a case of eye glasses, Sarah decided which pair she wanted.

Tomorrow my wife will start wearing glasses when she reads, writes, and does any computer work.

It's still very strange to me that I have the privilege of calling her my wife.

19 years ago I was helping her parents get ready for her arrival. I try not to think about the fact that I was there the night my wife was born, but it's true.

I watched her grow from a daydreaming baby girl who told stories when she could barely talk into a beautiful woman who still often daydreams and tells stories. She uses proper English mostly when she tells her stories now, but other than that not much has changed.

This week is going to be very... cathartic.

November 6th will not only be Sarah's 19th birthday, but it will also be our 19th anniversary. Sarah pointed that out to me today after her pupils had been dilated fully and she'd had two Mountain Dews and a rather large cup of coffee.

First Visit to Finland

Today is Friday, my wife's favorite day of the week.

We are taking a break from the tour this weekend. Sarah's invited her father to come spend the weekend with us. He'll be visiting Finland for the first time so she's making a list of things to show him and take him.

I never thought of Finland as a place to "do things", but Sarah can find something entertaining to do anywhere. She puts joy into everything she does so I'm sure we'll enjoy whatever she decides to do.

First Team Xtreme Blog Post

I get to be the first one to post since we found out that the Boys' Blog is being converted into the Team Xtreme Blog. I'm very excited about keeping you updated on all the behind-the-scenes shizz.

Our fearless leader, Mrs. Auvo is making spaghetti for us crazy bastards. Or pasghetti as Emma calls it.

It smells really good so...

Yahtzee

I spent the day playing soccer and Yahtzee with Jean, Sarah, Sampsa, Storm, and some of their friends and bandmates. We played three full games of Yahtzee and Sarah won at least two games and I think Niko won the other.

The new babies, Sam (18 days old) and Henna (13 days old), are growing like weeds. Sarah is telling the truth when she says that Henna looks just like Sampsa. She's like a little clone of him. Sam looks a bit like Marcellus, but not as much.

I want to say thank you to Sarah for letting us keep the layout. Hopefully you'll be able to get rest soon. ;-)

Layout Change

Hello, everybody.

I just wanted to let you all know that the layout will be changed.

The cute, goofy one that's up now was chosen by Emma, who is not entirely equipped to make that kind of decision.

I will have it nice and respectable very soon.

I Have To Admit...

I'm sitting here watching my eight beautiful babies, their mother, her husband, and their new baby girl.

I have to admit that I'm happy.

Hannele is gorgeous and Sarah is more than happy. My angel and all of my kids are healthy and happy. I couldn't ask for more.

Don't blame Sarah and Sampsa for our separation. None of it was her fault, all of it was mine. Sampsa and Jean-Claude had very little to do with our decision.

I think Sarah and I were lying to ourselves, or at least I was lying to myself, about why we were still together. She was trying so hard to just be happy and comfortable with me... I didn't notice that until I saw her with Sampsa.

I fully support Sarah's marriage to Sampsa, as she fully supports my newly official relationship with Jean-Claude.

Their relationship probably seemed sudden to all of you, but really it was no surprise to those closest to them. Sampsa lets Sarah be herself and be comfortable with who she is, an 18-year-old girl who still needs to find who she actually is.

I'd wish them luck, but I don't think they'll need it.

BLOG NEWS! I'm not good at keeping up with this blog by myself so, Jean came up with this plan last night.

Jean-Claude, Sampsa, and I will share the blog. SEH's babies-daddies sort of thing. Oh, she's going to hate that I even typed that.

Stay tuned for a revamp of the blog, hopefully by the talented woman who designed the other blogs. ;-)

Win

The Women's FIFA World Cup culminated yesterday with Germany defeating Nigeria and becoming the first host nation to win the tournament.

With that said... Mason and I have officially won the Hunter World Cup. Now we just have to figure out what we want from the defeated team.

My birthday is tomorrow and I'm anxious to see what Sarah has in store for me.

Speaking of my beautiful wife, she's really excited about the premier of VH1's Scream Queens 2 tonight at 10. She already knows the girls' names and everything. I'm sure she'll talk about it in her next post.

Inception

I managed to get Sarah to go see Inception. I think it's a great movie, one of the best I've seen in a long while. Sarah, however, didn't like it. I don't know if it was just because the law of gravity didn't apply in the movie at times or there's something else she didn't like.

For those of you who don't know, my wife has an extremely palpable fear of anything to do with space and/or gravity shutting off.

We used to have long talks while looking at the stars, but now just looking up at the sky causes her to panic.

Don't ask me where this fear came from or why she suddenly has it now after all these years, because I have no idea.

I'm going to let her drag me to a movie that she thinks I'll hate. Chances are if she likes it, I'll like it. I'll end up liking whatever movie she takes me to see because of the mere fact that she liked it. As long as she's happy, I'm happy.

And right now... she's a bit shaken, but she's got her headphones on and she's working. Hopefully that will do what it usually does and calms her down.

Thunder's Just a Noise

I just got home from a meeting and what do I find? It's pouring rain here in Stuart.

We're on break from the tour, which is great. We spent about four days in Finland and Newfoundland for a couple days. So it's great to just sit down and watch TV with the wife and the kids.

I let Sarah turn on Pretty Little Liars so she can relax and take her mind off the storm. She's not a big fan of thunder and/or anything that's loud.

Sarah and I will be going out to dinner with her sister and some of her sister's friends tonight. Hopefully we'll get some sleep sometime soon.

Monday, July 12, 2010

Newfoundland is crazy! Awesome people though and Sarah hasn't been arrested. Yet.

My Wife Watches Football

I'm laying in bed, watching FIFA coverage.

I never imagined that I'd be in South Africa with my beautiful wife bringing me coffee and a tray of fruit and biscuits after she turned on the soccer coverage.

Sarah has gotten so into the FIFA World Cup. I'm actually surprised at how she has jumped head-first into the pandemonium.

It didn't really surprise me when the kids got into it. Jarrod came with us on Saturday and is still here. Mason arrived yesterday.

I'm sitting in my bedroom with my angel, eating breakfast, and waiting for the first game to start. Today's matches are Netherlands v. Denmark, Japan v. Cameroon, and Italy v. Paraguay.

Sarah was on Twitter yesterday talking about how we're sort of having a competition. She said on Twitter that she was for Australia so I said that Germany was going to win. Just so you all know, I won that bet.

Now, we are starting our own little world cup. We're going to bet on who's going to win each game and whoever has the most points at the end of the FIFA World Cup wins. We were talking about betting on who's going to ultimately win, but Jarrod made the good point of, "What if none of our picks win?"

So today's choices are:

Netherlands v. Denmark
Sarah and Jarrod is for Denmark
Mason and I are for Netherlands

Japan v. Cameroon
Sarah and Jarrod are for Japan (because neither know where Cameroon is.)
Mason and I are for Cameroon

Italy v. Paraguay
Sarah and Jarrod are for Italy
Mason and I are for Paraguay

Wish Mason and I luck because I can't fathom what will happen to us if Sarah and Jarrod win this competition.

For you NFL fans, "soccer" was called football long before your sport. I'm European and proud to be a fan of the original football.

Beauty and the Angel and Love

Good morning, everyone.

As I sit here on the balcony with my beautiful angel (with the lovely sound of a lawnmower going back and forth underneath us), I decided to post.

Sarah posted about our anniversary yesterday. Link.

All day we were getting the same question: Are you doing anything special for your anniversary?

Like Sarah said, anniversaries and Valentine's Day are just not something we do. It's pretty cliche but every day for us is Valentine's Day and, if you think about it, every day is an anniversary. We really don't need to set a day aside to tell each other how we feel. After this many years, we still tell each other just how much we love each other... probably every time we see each other.

I have so much admiration and love for this woman. To compress all that appreciation into one or two days a year would be a crime.

No. People, if you love your partner, you tell them every chance you get.

How do you know you'll get another chance? How do you know you'll be able to wait until your anniversary or their birthday?

Don't think that the universe won't take her/him from you. The universe doesn't care if you love them. It certainly doesn't care if you've told them or not, but you will. You will regret not telling them that you loved them for the rest of your life. It will slowly destroy you.

So, everybody, stop what you're doing and call whoever it is you love and tell them that you do.

Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I can talk to you about the Galoria Hunter series. SEB, the "Creator", has finished Nephilim, book 2 of the GH series and has jumped into Beauty and the Angel completely now.

You can find all the links you'll need to purchase your copy of Blood Red Roses, book 1, and Nephilim, book 2, over on SEB's blog. Link.

I've also been very derelict in updating the Quote of the Day and the Weekly Angel Update. I will hopefully be able to get some more free time scrounged up some time soon. Bear with me.

Dearest One

When I came over to post on the blog, I found this waiting for me...

Dearest One,

Good afternoon to you, l deem it fit to contact you today based on your profile which l saw today in my private search, when l was looking for some one who l will in-trust my future living under his/her care for a better living of mine, please bear with me.. i will really like to have a good relationship with you, and i have a special reason why i decided to contact you, I decided to contact you based on the urgency of my situation here today.

My name is Vivian Diop. l am a single lady, of 24 years old, the daughter of Late Mr. Lambert Diop, my late father was a successful business man during his day's, it is sad for me to inform you that l lost my father in a motor accident on the 14th of November, 2006. during the time he was returning from a business trip from Jackson, Michigan to Ohio (USA), Dear, after four months l lost my beloved father, his second wife killed my mother so that she and his children will inherit all what my father left for all of us.

Meanwhile after my fathers second wife poisoned my mother to death, I wanted to escape to any where l can be accepted since she's also after my own life and no where is safe for me to stay with her and his children, but she went and hid away my international passport and other valuable traveling Documents which I'm suppose to travel with. luckily for me as God have his own plans for my life, she couldn't discover where I kept my fathers file which contains important documents of his deposited money of $5,8 Million which my father used my name to deposit with one of the leading financial bank. So after then, since l have no where to run to, I decided to run to the refugee camp here, where l am today by the grace of God, presently seeking asylum under the United Nations High Commission for the Refugees and Now I am out seeking for your humble assistance for a long term business relationship between us in your Country. Which l would like you to invest my inherited money for me in any lucrative moving business in your country for my future living under your care and control.

However, l wish to stop here for now as l have no much time to explain all the details to you as l wish, but please dear, as soon as l hear from you soon showing your interest and acceptance to assist me as l really need your help to me now and l am waiting so that l shall send you my pictures and forward all vital information's to you for your confirmation to help me out.

Thanks
Yours Sincerely
Ms.Vivian.
If this is real, I'm sorry but we can't help you. If this is a scam, you should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you get what you have coming to you.

Weekly Angel Update - 5/9/10

It's that day of the week again...

Nothing really to report. Sarah had her driving test on Friday. She didn't get her license and we deemed the Nissan Frontier not suitable for the test. So, she's going back tomorrow with the Toyota Rav4.

Oh! If you keep track of the blogs, you probably heard about Sarah's knee.

Nova, the cat who's probably more famous than any of us, likes to drop roaches in our bed. Dead or alive, it doesn't matter to him. It also doesn't matter whether or not someone is in the bed. Anyway, Sarah and I were watching Craig Ferguson Thursday night when his highness decided to drop one of the disgusting insects into bed with us. We both jumped up in time to escape the massive roach, who was still very much alive. Impatient, Sarah went into the main office and got on the computer. That's where we finished watching Craig Ferguson.

When Nova finally decided to get the bug off the bed, he didn't put it very far away (right at the foot of Sarah's side of the bed). I walked around it and got into bed. Sarah, who isn't fond of anything with more than four legs and/or wings, jumped from the door to the bed, pretty much diving into bed. Somehow skin was ripped off of her left knee.

It was so sore that she couldn't bend her knee for a couple days. It's scabbed up now and should be all healed up real soon.

Hopefully next Sunday I will be telling you guys about my wife's new license. ;-)

Mother's Day

It's 12:34 A.M so I thought it was safe to say...

Happy Mother's Day to every mother out there.

I'd like to especially say Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful wife, who without none of us would be able to function. I love you so much, Angel.

Weekly Angel Update - 5/2/10

As some of you know, Sarah can be pretty honest on here and on the blogs. She speaks her mind and tells the truth. I just thought it would be cool to do a weekly thing (every Sunday) where I tell you about the antics of my beautiful, but sometimes hazardous, wife.

This week had been pretty uneventful. We did have a big opposum on the back porch earlier in the week. The craziness didn't start until today.

Early today, Sarah found a bee in the conference room. If you didn't know already, Sarah was stuck a few years ago by a wasp and has hated bees, wasps, and pretty much anything with wings since. She sprayed it with spray and stomped into the carpet.

With the bee dead and all that resolved, I thought it would be alright to leave Sarah to her own devices for a while. Some of the guys and I left the office.

We came back three hours later to find Sarah swarmed by the "doctors". I have no idea what's going on. I thought she had been attacked or something.

I asked her what happened and she looked at me and said, "I locked myself out."

My beautiful, yet hazardous, wife had locked herself out of the office when she went to feed the outside cats. She was outside in the well over 90 degree weather for two hours (3:00-5:00) before her mother got to the office and found her pacing the yard.

It's 12:05 A.M on Monday, May 3, 2010. The week sure ended with a bang.

Saturday, May 1, 2010

Sarah waited until after she needed the camera to charge it. Gotta love her. Night/morning, everybody.

I Had My Angel With Me... and Nova.

I wanted to hurry up and get my post in while Sarah is doing the dishes. To be honest, she's only doing the dishes so she can have coffee and breakfast. I'm not saying she doesn't do anything around here. She does more than most. She just does it when she wants to and right now... she doesn't.

Anyway. We had a shifter meeting last night and that's why I chose the picture of Nova sniffing the couch. I think that's where Nikole was sitting. She's a wereleopard. Nova's a male cat smelling a female cat in his territory. We all thought it was pretty funny when he started to freak out as soon as she left.

Sarah did this survey last night. It's the second "widespread" survey that we've done. Strangely, the only ones who have done them would be me and Sarah. Hopefully soon you'll be able to hear from someone who's not us. Sometime today, my version of the survey will go up on the forum. Sarah's is already up on her blog and the forum.

  1. Original questions, ready?
    Why don't I trust you?
  2. Ever found a condom on the ground?
    Yes.
  3. Don't tell me lies, have you been under the influence in the past 24 hours?
    No.
  4. Who were you last in a car with?
Sarah and her dad. She's getting really good at driving. Safely, I meant safely.
  5. Do you remember your very first kiss?
    Yes, like it was yesterday.
  6. Do you think things will change in the next few months?
I have to copy my wife... Things never stay the same. I just hope it's in a good way.
  7. Last person you kissed on the lips said that you were the only one they wanted, would you believe them?
I'd love to, but my brain just can't seem to believe that she'd only want me. That's pretty much our only issue right now. Don't send her anything nasty. It's all my fault.
  8. Is there a girl that knows everything or almost everything about you?
She's knows more about me than I ever wanted her to know.
  9. Who did you last hug?
    My wife.
  10. Have you cried this past week?
    No.
  11. Say your ex walks up to you and hugs you, what do you say?
Cringe. Well, there's a couple that I'm fine with getting hugged by, but not many.
  12. What does your twentieth text say?
"Did you guys get more coffee creamer?" You have to love Jason.
  13. Where is the person who has your heart at the moment?
    In the kitchen.
  14. Do you think anyone has feelings for you?
    I like to think so.
  15. What is your favorite thing about being sick?
I have to agree with Sarah, being sick is bad.
  16. After breaking up, what's the worst part?
    I don't know.
  17. Last phone call was with whom?
    Jasper "Red, Red Wine" Mayall.
  18. Who was the last person that told you everything was going to be ok?
    Sarah.
  19. Do you think two people can last forever?
    Yes.
  20. Would it be weird if the last person you kissed called you?
I don't know why she couldn't just come out of the kitchen and talk to me.
  21. Do you currently have a hickey, if so where?
    No. No hickies.
  22. Last night, you felt?
    Blissful.
  23. Will you regret your next kiss?
    Actually looking forward to it.
  24. Would you be surprised if your ex called you tonight?
    Yes.
  25. Honestly, who was the last person to tell you that they love you?
Jasper. He was being snarky though. I don't think he really meant it. :-(
  26. Did you sleep alone last night?
No. I had my angel with me. :-) And Nova...
  27. Would you ever eat a bug for 1,000 dollars?
    No.
  28. The last person you kissed, how many times have you cried in front of them?
    More than anyone else.
  29. Do you plan on sleeping in tomorrow?
    No later than usual.
  30. Would you rather dye your hair or go tanning?
Neither. I've done both and didn't like either one.
  31. Do you have a best friend?
    Yes.
  32. Best summer of your life?
This one's shaping up to be pretty good.
  33. Do you find piercings attractive?
    If they're on Sarah, yes.
  34. What were you doing last night at midnight?
    ;-)
  35. Lets start with the personals okay?
    Sure?
  36. Anyone you can't live without?
    Yes.
  37. Waiting for something?
Sarah to get her coffee and come back in here.
  38. Last December, what was your love life like?
    Almost bad.
  39. Your phone is ringing. It's your ex. What do you say?
I don't answer it. They have no reason to be calling me.
  40. Have you ever kissed anyone who's real name started with a B? How many?
    Yes.
  41. Have you ever kissed someone who's real name started with an M?
    Yes.
  42. What about J, K, L, D, N, O, P?
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
  43. Was lastnight terrible?
    Absolutely not.
  44. Are you 100% over the last person you kissed?
    She's my world.
  45. Are you the type of person to make people laugh?
    More now than ever.
  46. Don't tell me lies, so is the last person you texted attractive?

Thank You, Angel

Good afternoon, everyone.

I wanted to come on here and say thank you to my beautiful wife for putting up with me today. I thought she was going to give up for a moment there, but she didn't.

She had patience long enough to find a new layout for my blog.

Believe it or not, but I'm not as good with technology as she is. I also don't have the patience to sit and search for a template all day.

I was afraid to ask her, but she volunteered. I'm very grateful that she did.

Thank you, angel, for your patience and intelligence.

Oh, and the jeans that you're wearing today. ;-)

Kathy called Emmett "hunky hunky" and a "dream boat". I guess that's good, huh?

Sarah's NOT in the hospital. She has a cold. That's all. I don't know these rumors start, but they need to stop.

Nephilim

When Sarah told me what she was naming her second book, I was a bit skeptical. I thought like most people around here. I thought Nephilim would bring to many questions that she'd have to answer over and over. For one, what does Nephilim mean?

I completely changed my outlook when she showed me the cover that she had chosen.

I have been working with Sarah, as she's told you all, throughout the process of writing Nephilim. She's got more enthusiasm about this book than I've seen her have for much else. She has put her heart and soul into it. I know the story can hold itself up, but the title was a bit off for me. The cover sold it for me though. When she just said Nephilim... first of all, I didn't know exactly what she said. She had to repeat it.

The research she compiled for just that one word is astounding. Reading through the hundreds of pages, I figured out that the word Nephilim is perfect.

White roses signify honor, virtue, and innocence. Take a white rose and have a bloody knife hovering above it... you've got the ideal image for what Sarah is trying to convey within this book.

Blood Red Roses was sort of the introduction into our lives and most importantly, Sarah's mind. Nephilim jumps head-first into the deep end and doesn't let you come up for air.

Well, it's 2:40 in the morning... as Wiz said over on the Royal Family blog, Sarah will be posting on her blog as soon as she gets her coffee. I'll make sure of it.
